Field Service Technician

This is a Full-time service position where duties are to

Report to Service Managers; Service, support, repair and install Large Format printers and scanners throughout designated territory providing both phone and onsite support;  Keep service records to note issues and solutions to those issues with maintenance records for future reference; communicate professionally with customer contacts throughout the service and install process; additional tasks as assigned.

Take assigned service calls and communicate with customers to schedule visits in a timely manner, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems with software and hardware Maintain open communication from start to finish

Install print drivers and printing software, learn to use printing software and troubleshoot issues on that software as well as train customers on equipment and software usage

Investigate customer printer issues and resolve quickly, documenting steps taken while collecting appropriate information – ie part numbers, serial numbers, meters, signatures…

Stock vehicle with parts and supplies necessary for daily repairs

Manage parts inventory

Participate in training for new Models / Technology online and (hands-on) on-site with Partners

Associates or Bachelors Degree with emphasis in technology or Electronics

Mechanical Aptitude and use of electronic, network tools and basic hand tools

Experience with Adobe (Acrobat)Reader, Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outklook) Exposure to Autodesk applications, Blue Beam as well as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign etc would be a plus.

Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server Operating Systems, Print driver and software installation

Basic Level knowledge in Networking and troubleshooting connectivity problems
