This is a copy, scan and print machine. The Scanner is a context scanner that sits on top of a compatible color plotter. The two units are attached via USB and Firewire. A windows based (XP Pro) PC connects to the scanner and the plotter and controls the copying and printing processes. Hook the PC up to your network and utilize the replicator as a network printer, scan directly to network shared drives or leave it as a stand alone unit. The following plotters are compatible with the Replicator Multi-function System:
